What the service is

exams.lv (this site) and the practice application at app.exams.lv provide original practice exercises for the Latvian A2 state language exam (valsts valodas prasmes pārbaude, VVPP): listening, reading, writing and speaking tasks in the official format, with automatic scoring and AI feedback on written answers.

exams.lv is an independent practice platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to VIAA or any Latvian state authority. It does not administer the state exam, does not register you for it and does not issue official results or certificates. Exercises are original material written to match the official format — they are not copies of real exam questions.

Plans, renewal and cancellation

Paid access is sold in the application at https://app.exams.lv/premium in three plans. The weekly and monthly plans are subscriptions: they renew automatically at the stated price until you cancel. The 90-day pass is a single payment and does not renew.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; access then continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges are made. Prices shown on this site include VAT where applicable; the exact amount is always shown at checkout, which is processed by Stripe.

Refunds and the EU right of withdrawal

The service is digital content delivered immediately after payment. By purchasing, you request immediate access and acknowledge that, under the EU consumer rules on digital content, the 14-day right of withdrawal lapses once performance has begun with your consent.

If something is wrong — you were charged in error, or the service does not work as described — write to [email protected]. We would rather refund a payment than keep an unhappy customer.

No guarantee of passing

The practice materials are built to match the official exam format, and the exam facts published on this site are verified against official sources and dated. But your exam result depends on your own preparation and performance on the day: buying access is not a guarantee of passing the state exam, and nothing on this site is legal or immigration advice.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

One account is for one person. Do not share accounts, scrape the exercises, or republish the practice content — it is original work and remains our intellectual property. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under Latvian consumer-protection law.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version is published at this address; material changes to a running subscription are announced before they apply. This version was published on 2026-07-31.
